I bought this bag in a department store, then found it on Amazon for a much better price. Back to the store it went. The one I got from Amazon is exactly the same bag! I love the red. Easy to get into with the magnetic closure, has an outside slip pocket that I like to put the cell phone in. Thanks Amazon!

I splurged and bought myself the Mariella tote in rouge - a really vibrant (but not garish) shade of red. I've had a HOBO Int'l wallet for over ten years and it's still going strong, so I came back to the brand for both looks and quality. It's a well-constructed bag, but it has a design flaw that was enough to make me send it back: the shoulder strap is only about 3/4 inch wide. While the bag doesn't seem heavy on its own, once I added my wallet, phone, journal and keys, the weight of the bag made the strap really uncomfortable. It dug into my shoulder, and I was constantly fussing with it as I walked. I used the bag for half a day and then, sadly, put it back in the box. If the handles were a tiny bit bigger I would've kept the bag, ditched the strap, and worn it tucked up under my arm. But it doesn't work that way, and I need both hands free, so back to Amazon it goes.If you are looking for a handbag - well-made, good internal organization, lovely finish - and you don't need to use a shoulder strap, I would definitely recommend Mariella. If you're planning to slip in your iPad or a good book, though, don't expect to sling it over your shoulder, too.

i got this bag at a massively discounted price (110) that was admittedly a bit above my spending limit- but i saw it and just couldnt leave it there. that being said, if i had the money i would get it even for the full price. i was hard on it daily for a year so far, and its still going strong and getting ready for another. definitely reccomend

This purse is one of my all-time favorites. The leather is high quality, as is the craftsmanship. There is an outside pocket that you can't see in the photos - a really nice add-on. I bought this in black, as I have a yellow HOBO bag and the ink from a ball point pen wouldn't come out, so I'm more inclined in buying darker colors. Otherwise, that light brown would've been mine.

I have been eyeing this handbag for SOOOO long on endless.com & amazon- I finally bought it! Got it yesterday, it is about half the size as shown online. I didn't even take it out of the bag, that's how disappointed I was! The color is a beautiful plum color, but the bag is way too small. No where close to how it seems on the picture! I'm returning it back this weekend.

I purchased this purse because I wanted a smaller purse to use in between carrying around the larger ones I usually do - "shoulder issues!!" It holds quite a bit - and fits comfortably on my shoulder.

It is a cute clutch. The leather is of high quality. I agree about the comment regarding a magnet or a hand strap in one of the reviews - either one would have helped, but the clutch is still great!

I really, really wanted to order this bag. Amazon had it on a special Christmas deal for 30% off the regular price. But, I dithered.J. Glick had written in her review that she received a Marigold Bag with Purple (she and I hate purple) stitching. She also received a bag with wrinkled leather, but the picture showed smooth. Would I get wrinkled leather? Wrinkled leather I could tolerate probably. Would I get purple stitching? The beautiful Marigold bag would definitely have to be returned if it had PURPLE STITCHING.I dithered for a day. 3 were left. 2 were left. 1 was left.I could not stand it. I would take the chance. I ordered it two days ago.This afternoon it arrived.The Leather on the purse is SMOOTH.THE STITCHING IS YELLOW!The bag is entirely beautiful. It is huge. It will hold all my needs. It is smart looking. I am well pleased.I see that all the reviews written on the bag were for the Marigold one. Other colors remain. I love this bag and think you will also. Give it a whirl.

I bought this for my wife. She had it on her list of Christmas wishes, and upon receiving it, was excited and surprised. She especially liked the bright red interior and the pocket separator down the middle. The material seems durable, although I am worried about the handles wearing out just above where they join the purse itself. They seem to be creasing already.

Just got my hobo bag in the raspberry color and am SO happy!!! It arrived quickly and is made of the softestleather. The two pockets on the sides actually work and are not just for decoration. The bag is big which I lovebut since it is not a structured bag, it lays flat under the arm. Love, Love, Love!!! Love it so much I orderedthe tobacco color as well. When you find something that works, get more than one!!!

When I have a good bag I hang onto it for a long time. This good quality bag has all the pockets I need, and a comfortable adjustable strap. Received alot of compliments on it.

A very nice bag, to be sure, as it is Hobo International. However, purchasing it from Amazon, there is minimal info on the product page re: the details of the bag. Had I known the zipper and the lining were not as pictured, I doubt that I would have purchased it. In the future, it would be nice to provide further details on such things, particularly since these are items in the $200+ price/value range. I like the choice of colors and styles, but I still require more specifics as to the item itself, if I am going to put my money down on it. Next time, I'll wait for e-bay.

I got the green paulina - and I love it! I already got complements on the slick design. Love the yellow interior, well sawn, and fresh colors! Makes me happy!
